A snuffle mat is a brain game made from a plastic mat with fleece strips knotted through the holes of the mat. These mats mimic grass and outdoor areas and encourage food foraging in dogs.

How to use:
Lay a few treats or dry kibble on top of the snuffle mat to make it easy for your dog to find. After they eat the treat put the mat away. The next time you bring out the snuffle mat lightly bury the treats in the strips of the mat and watch your dog start to search. When finished put away. The third time you bring out the snuffle mat bury the treats deep this time and watch the mental stimulation begin. The forging, brain game, dog puzzle begins. Put away when finished. Going forward when you bring out the mat, your dog knows it's a reward and they feel special. This snuffle mat is also great to use when your dog tends to eat fast. This helps to slow their eating which is better for your dogs digestion.
